Resistance. Protest. Dissent.
This page marks the beginning of an evolving archival project bringing together more than thirty years of photographic observation. It introduces a body of work documenting political protest, public assembly and acts of collective dissent.
As the archive develops, photographs from different periods will be brought into dialogue to examine continuity and change in visual culture, public space and the expression of dissent. Images will be revisited, contextualised and connected through ongoing research, revealing new relationships between historical events, contemporary debates and documentary practice.
